    Horrible customer service. Do not ever buy from Barbeques Galore. The main gas line deep inside our expensive Ziegler & Brown BBQ completely fell apart, leaking significant amounts of gas. Ziegler do not have a contact number and did not respond to a single email in four months. Barbecues Galore sent me on a wild goose chase between stores and online customer care before becoming completely unresponsive. They have not responded to a single email in over two months. It’s now been six months since I first contacted them. Horrible service, especially for a defective $6,000 product that should be recalled nationally.

    I had a warranty issue with a beef master a purchased in September , $1900 worth BTW.
    Went to Alexandria store on the 1st nov with all the detail receipts etc and the faulty part including spoke to Paul.
    I followed up with an email at his request and he said the warranty department would be in touch via email
    I did not hear anything after a week so I called the store and asked for Paul. Left a message and he would call me back.
    Didn’t happen, tried again a week later today in fact but Paul is on a break he will call you back. Didn’t happen
    But surprisingly today I received that email from the warranty department.
    So the fault part request now needs to assessed and reviewed could take another week or so.
    So if you’re looking for support and reasonable after sales service from Paul at Alexandria your dreaming
    Go somewhere else

    They said that the product that I ordered online and received confirmation was not available and that it would arrive on Wednesday next week, but when my brother, whose English is better, called to me and talked to him , they said that they had reserved the product for someone else. They gave it to us so that we would not cancel it. It was not ethical behavior.

    A disappointing experience
    And whilst I know a receipt makes the world go around

    I attempted to return an item that didn’t work. Chicken scissor. That don’t cut chicken

    Alas I didn’t locate my receipt —
    I had expected when something doesn’t work that there is an obligation to deal with it fairly, as in “fit for purpose “under consumer legislation

    A pretty remote response was experienced. So I’d did the best thing possible and left them on the counter - . Left without satisfaction. And left with the intention of never going back there again.

    Interesting too as I work for a garden design and installation company And what do we find included in most gardens we create?? . Yep BBQs galore

    Customer service has to be more important than remembering every receipt in life and filing it for life’s many unplanned moments

    We ordered outdoor furniture from the store.
    On the day of the delivery, the store rep called and informed me that one of the items in the package was damaged and he asked if I would agree to swap that with the floor item. I have agreed subject to $100 discount/voucher.
    The item arrived to us damaged and the delivery guys were extremely rude.
    I called the store and reported to one of the staff. He didn't assist but referred me to customer service. They sent me few emails but didn't resolve the issue. Nor was there a voucher as it was promised.
    A lot of time wasted... I hate writing reviews but I'd like for people to know about their service so you can make an informed decision before dealing with BBQ Galore
